ACE ANUNCIA SUS PREMIOS EXTRAORDINARIOS Y LOS DE

CINE Y TELEVISIÓN ESCÉNICA

La 51 edición de los tradicionales premios ACE, que la Asociación de Cronistas de Espectáculos otorga sin interrupción desde 1968, acaban de darse a conocer y ya en la edición anterior de Impacto Latino publicamos las ternas correspondientes a la categoría de teatro y cuyo resultado final se dará a conocer la tercera semana de enero de 2019.

La próxima entrega se llevará a cabo el domingo 7 de abril del año entrante en el teatro Rafael Villalona, sede del Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura, del 541 West de la calle 145, dando comienzo a las 6 pm.

Las personalidades a quienes se le han otorgado el Premio Extraordinario ACE por Distinción y Merito son la destacada actriz cubana de cine, televisión y teatro Xonia Benguría y el sobresaliente actor uruguayo y director del grupo teatral LATEA, Nelson Landrieu.

A continuación damos a conocer los ganadores para 2019 en la categorías de cine y televisión escénica.

 

CINE

 

Mejor actor, Daniel Giménez Cacho, México, por “Zama”, cinta de Argentina; mejor actriz, Yalitza Aparicio, México, por “Roma”; mejor coactuación masculina, Vladimir Cruz, Cuba, “Los buenos demonios”; mejor coactuación femenina, Marina de Tavira, México, “Roma”; guion más destacado, Ernesto y Marta Daranas, Cuba, “Sergio & Sergei”; mejor dirección y película, la aclamada cinta mexicana “Roma”, triunfadora en el Festival de Venecia y aspirante a una nominación a uno o varios premios Oscar. Premio Ópera Prima, la película de mexicana, “El vigilante” y por último mejor documental, “La Chana”, de España, Islandia y Estados Unidos

 

TELEVISIÓN ESCÉNICA

 

Mejor actor, mejor coactuación masculina, mejor director y mejor serie dramática, Javier Gutiérrez, Alejo Sauras, Jesús Rodrigo, respectivamente por “ESTOY VIVO”, así como la serie de TVE.

Mejor actriz y mejor actriz caraterística para Patricia López Arnaíz y Ana Wagener, por sus labores respectivas en “LA OTRA MIRADA”, también del mismo canal.

En el renglón de mejor coactuación femenina y mejor actor característico, resultaron galardonados la actriz María Isabel Díaz y Christian Sánchez por sus encomiables trabajos en la serie “EL CONTINENTAL”, también de TVE.

Mejor programa cultural, “SABER Y GANAR”, presentado por Jordi Hurtado, espacio que está cumpliendo 21 temporadas en el aire y posiblemente sea el programa estandarte de TVE2.

Todos estos programas salen al aire en el Canal 878 de Spectrum.”

About Manolo Garcia-Oliva

Manolo García Oliva was born in La Habana, Cuba on September 16, 1938 and emigrated to the United States in 1961. He has worked as a columnist for El Tiempo, Canales Magazine, ABC de las Américas, Latin American Weekly Edition; and currently for Esmeralda, and Impacto Latin News. From early 1970s to late 1990s he was Community Affairs Director and Public Relations Director at WNJU47 Telemundo and then Director of Community Events at WXTV41 Univisión. Mr. García Oliva is currently the Community Liaison for Majority Members of the New York State Senate. The Honorable Jose E. Serrano paid tribute to Mr. Garcia-Oliva during the 102nd U. S. Congress Session for his community service. Other awards and citations given to Mr. Garcia-Oliva for his community service and his work in the Arts include: a Silver Medal of Arts, Sciences and Letters of France; citations by former Governor Mario M. Cuomo and proclamations presented by the Municipal Council of the City of Newark and by the New Jersey State Congress. He was also honored at the Cuban Day Parade and Hispanic Day Parade Quincentennial Celebration. Thalia Spanish Theatre Board of Director honored Mr. Garcia-Oliva for his efforts in establishing legitimate Spanish theater in the New York metropolitan area. In September 2014 he was presented with the keys of Repertorio Español Theater. King Felipe VI of Spain, awarded Mr. García Oliva the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Isabel la Católica, at El Palacio Real de Madrid, July 17th 2014. In 1983 Mr. Garcia-Oliva was elected President of the Asociación de Cronístas de Espectáculos de Nueva York, ACE, a position he held until May 1997. He is currently President of HOLA, the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors, President Emeritus of ACE; Treasurer of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation NATAS. He also serves on the boards of Repertorio Español, Teatro Círculo, Thalia Spanish Theatre and the Mexican Cultural Institute.
